It was the problem of food shortages would soon be resolved following the discovery of powder 'anti-hunger', developed by German researchers. This powder can be used to prevent hunger for people who are on a diet.
Like the other food additives, powder can be mixed with food or beverages are usually consumed. This powder is made from methyl cellulose, a material commonly used in many foods. According to German researchers, if used powder that can help dieters feel full after eating in smaller portions.

Telegraph launch, Dow Wolff Cellulosics experiment the volunteers. They were asked to eat foods with the addition of powdered 'anti-hunger' to get a lower calorie intake, to 13 percent.

"With a feeling of fullness, people will consume less food. In the first study, we saw volunteers ate fewer calories after consuming our products, "said Carsten Huettermann, German researchers from Dow Wolff, as reported by the Times of India, Wednesday (22/8).

This powder is made from SATISFIT-LTG, a modified form of methyl cellulose, food additives commonly used as a binder in prepared foods, baked goods, or other snacks.

Methyl cellulose is a white powder that can be dissolved in cold water. When heated, turns into gelatin methyl cellulose binding materials together and provide distinctive texture to foods. Under normal circumstances, this material will go into the stomach quickly and creates a feeling of satiety.

However SATISFIT-produced LGT Dow Wolff will turn into a gel in the body temperature. This powder will be in the stomach longer to absorb the small intestine. Previous research suggests that substance turns into a gel in the stomach will cause a sense of satiety.

Later, the researchers will develop a powder 'anti-hunger' into other forms, such as yogurt, smoothies, or fruit drinks.
